This by far was one of the best shows I've ever gone too. There was a nonstop barrage of death metal from 2 stages for over 10 hours. It was hard to decide which stage I wanted to be at most of the day. The Worcester Palladium did an excellent job booking the local bands for this show. They were all brutal as hell, if I had to pick out some highlights I'd say Sexcrement and Necronomichrist both had crushing sets but all the bands were amazing. Then it was time for the headliners. Boston locals Revocation were first with a solid set that got the crowd moving. Dying Fetus came on next and the floor filled up even more, by the time Suffocation came on stage everyone was pumped and it showed. They played a solid hour of the most brutal live death metal I've heard in awhile, my neck is still sore three days after.. then the mighty Six Feet Under closed out the night. The new lineup defiantly makes them a much stronger band. Even the older songs had a much heavier feel now. This was the inaugural deathfest show for Worcester and hopefully they will continue to have them for years to come. \m/
